The Portuguese playmaker has attracted interest from PSG and Bayern Munich, as well as turning down a move to Saudi Arabia last year. However, United are reluctant to part ways with the 31-year-old.

Liverpool are targeting a move for Juventus midfielder Khéphren Thuram this summer but could face competition from Manchester United. The France midfielder has a market value of €40 million and is under contract until 2029.

Newcastle are one of five clubs reportedly interested in signing Karim Coulibaly from Werder Bremen this summer. The Germany Under-21 international is preparing to leave the Bundesliga outfit and there are several clubs in the hunt, with the Magpies one of those keen on the 18-year-old defender.
